Established in 1998, Brisbane River Dragons is one of Queensland's oldest dragon boat clubs and one of few Queensland clubs to successfully incorporate Outrigger and Dragon Boat disciplines in the one club.
We have a proud history of contributing to the growth of padding through social experience and competitive achievements. BRD has introduced 100's of paddlers to the sport through hosting and/or supporting corprate events including Qld Children's Hospital "Paddle for kids regatta" , Hakka Festival, QUT regatta and Qld Corporate Games.
BRD members have further supported the growth of paddling through representation on State and National teams and boards.
Whether your aspirations are for fitness and friendship or to compete on the international stage BRD has a place for you.
