Brisbane River Dragons

Join Up

As a community based not for profit club, BRD aim to make paddling accessible to the widest possible sector of the community. If you are interested in joining one of Australia's most successful and enjoyable water sports clubs, you will just need to follow four simple steps.

1. Choose Your Membership Type
Before you join up you will need to decide on a couple of things. What type of canoe you would like to train in (dragon boat or outrigger) and at what level would you like to compete (social or competition?) The full range of membership options for the current season are listed below.

2. Sign-Up
Once you have selected you membership type you will need to complete a Membership Form. If you haven't received a copy of this form from your initial visit to BRD, you can download the Membership Form here Once completed, hand the form into us at your next session.

3. Transfer Your Fees
It is preferred that your fee is made as a deposit into the Brisbane River Dragons account. Just let us know via email when you have done so and make sure to attach the appropriate forms. As an alternative, you can also bring your fee along to training (preferably Saturday morning.)

BRD Account Details: Westpac BSB: 034 002, Account: 12 66 57
Reference: Your name and details of deposit. e.g. Jane Elliott Mship

4. Get Paddling!
That's it! You are now officially part of the club. You need to visit our Yahoo Groups website, and Join Up to be added to the BRD mailing list. This is the best way to stay in touch with all club happenings.
